EPIC Comments on the Future of Federal Water Infrastructure Funding

As federal funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act winds down, Congress is considering the future of the State Revolving Funds, a cornerstone of water infrastructure financing. 

In a new public comment, EPIC examines the growing gap between water infrastructure needs and available funding and highlights how current approaches to earmarks can reduce the long-term financing capacity of these programs. The comment outlines EPIC’s perspective on how federal water infrastructure funding can better support communities over time.
