It’s About Time for Timelines

Building on previous  Environmental Policy Innovation Center (EPIC) | Ecological Restoration Business Association research from 2023 (here and here) and EPIC solo analysis in 2024 (here), EPIC s kicking off the fourth analysis of US Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) data to see if timelines on mitigation banks are meeting the federally mandated approval time limit of 225 days.

We need your help on credit release timeline data. In 2024, we were able to analyze mitigation bank-provided data about the time between credit release request and credit releases. We hope to expand the data available to analyze. If you are a mitigation bank and track the dates when you submitted, and the date of approval for credit release, please fill out the following excel spreadsheet and submit it to becca [at] policyinnovation.org by May 15, 2026.
