Lilly Slaughter
Senior Finance Analyst
Lilly joined EPIC during the summer of 2023 and is currently the Senior Finance Analyst. As Senior Finance Analyst, Lilly plays a key role in supporting financial operations and works closely with the Funding Navigator team to manage contracts, invoicing, and grant administration. For the last decade Lilly has worked for nonprofits focusing on the environment and food systems, as well as working on organic farms. Prior to joining EPIC, Lilly completed a MA in Southern Studies and MFA in Documentary Expression at the University of Mississippi, focusing on agricultural labor history and transnational practices specifically between Kentucky and Western Mexico. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky by two garden-loving parents, Lilly has always been drawn towards the outdoors. This interest has led Lilly to farming in Sonoma County, California, working farmers markets in Los Angeles, creating sustainable food systems in Upstate New York, and back to her hometown of Louisville. Outside of work, Lilly enjoys hosting dinner parties, antiquing, and spending time with her friends and family.
