Tennessee SFY27 Public Comments: Clean Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plan

EPIC is a nonprofit organization that works toward a future where every community benefits from investments in water infrastructure that provides safe, reliable, and affordable services and supports systems that are resilient to financial, workforce, and environmental challenges. Our Green Initiative works to advance the adoption of Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI), including through expanding funding for GSI.

At EPIC, we have reviewed several state’s CWSRF programs, particularly those that have utilized sponsorship programs. We offer these comments with the intention of supporting TDEC in its management of the CWSRF.

Janet Pritchard

Janet supports EPIC’s work on the state policy frameworks governing state revolving funds for water infrastructure. As norms and tools for defining and addressing environmental justice concerns are evolved and prioritized, Janet works to fill a critical link by exploring how these norms and tools can be incorporated into the state policy frameworks that determine which communities and water infrastructure projects receive state and federal funding.
