EPIC Partners with National Academy of Public Administration to Accelerate Climate Resilience
We're excited to announce that the Environmental Policy Innovation Center has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Academy of Public Administration (the Academy). This partnership brings together EPIC's expertise in accelerating restoration and nature-based solutions for resilience with NAPA's deep government affairs and policy capabilities to advance its new Extreme Weather Resilience Hub initiative.
Both organizations are committed to faster, more effective government action that delivers real results for communities and nature. Through this collaboration, we'll bring our work on restoration financing, innovative contracting models and smart permitting practices to the Academy's convening power and networks across federal, state, and local governments.
As extreme weather events intensify, communities need more restoration and nature-based resilience solutions. And they need them now. This partnership will help us identify and scale the approaches that work, remove barriers to implementation, and ensure that restoration investments deliver ecological, economic, and resilience returns for the communities that need them most.
We're looking forward to working alongside the Academy's Fellows and staff to support local governments building extreme weather resilience through nature-based solutions.

About the Environmental Policy Innovation Center
At the Environmental Policy Innovation Center (EPIC), we work to create positive environmental and public health outcomes faster, when and where they are needed most. We imagine a future where policy is revolutionized; where environmental innovation dramatically outpaces the scale and speed of its threats; and where governments effectively serve their people.
EPIC’s unique strategy to accelerate environmental progress is laid out in our seven approaches: Experimentation & Innovation, Buying Environmental Outcomes, Supporting Communities, Unlocking Finance, Accelerating through Technology, Faster Government, and EPICly. We utilize these approaches to speed up critical policies and procedures in agriculture, restoration, water, and technology across the United States.
Our team of policy experts, technologists, environmental scientists, and researchers have held key government and industry roles, from the White House to technology companies to leading consulting firms. What unites us is a shared commitment to innovation and expedited impact for progress.
At EPIC, we are speed-first. In partnership with government, private sector, and nonprofit partners, we set ambitious goals against a breadth of urgent issues. Amidst the 30,000 conservation organizations in the United States, we are standardizing a new pace, for us all to do this work faster.
