Elizabeth Vaccaro

Director of Development

Elizabeth joined EPIC in April 2025, excited to combine her passion for conservation, policy, and relationship-building to pioneer the Director of Development role. Prior to EPIC, she served as the Development Manager at Solar Energy International, working with tribal coalitions and rural communities to increase access to federally-funded renewable energy development programs, and the Major Gifts Officer at American Bird Conservancy, building funding capacity to protect birds and their habitats across the Americas. Elizabeth received her B.A. in Political Science at Seattle Pacific University, and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Environmental Policy and Management with her concentration in Natural Resource Management at the University of Denver. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Save the Snakes, and is a volunteer biological monitor in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains for the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance’s pika and boreal toad research teams.
