Get to Know Me Further
I grew up playing in the rivers in the Sierra Nevada of California and have always been in awe of their beauty. From there, it was a natural progression to river guiding during my summer breaks in college. It hasn't been surprising that my love of being on rivers would lead to a career in restoring them, and I have loved learning about all the different ways to do that. The Humboldt Bay Area (Northern California) has been home for the last handful of years, and provides endless opportunities to explore the natural world. I am excited to return there to work on my applied research project for my Master's degree at UC Santa Cruz.
